It is not happiness that makes us grateful. It is gratefulness that makes us happy.                                                                                 David Steindl-Rast
Join an international group of Facilitators and other SoulCollagers to dig deeply into your deck, and grow your gratitude. Take inventory of how and where you give and receive thanks in your life. In a meaningful two weeks, you'll develop new ways to harness gratitude's powers for self-knowledge and healing. With Michele's Card Games approach, find deeper meaning within individual cards and among interrelated cards as you explore being thankful for yourself and the world around you.

This journey is for anyone who loves SoulCollage® and seeks to grow and expand gratitude in their life. You'll come away with new ways of creating, discovering, and speaking about gratitude with your cards. Facilitators will develop ways to share these ideas with others by uncovering profound and provocative examples from their own decks.

Explorations will include-
  • What simple things bring you great joy?
  • Which of your Neters evoke or promote thankful energy?
  • Which Neters are grateful TO you?
  • The cast of characters you are increasingly grateful for
  • Gratitude in retrospect; thankful from a new perspective
  • What does gratitude look like? As an archetype? Personally?
  • Giving thanks for who we are, in detail

Course structure

Each week you'll receive, by email, a written guide to the topic and suggestions for explorations with your own cards (pdf file). You'll be invited to participate in a Facebook Group to share your experiences, ask questions, and see what others are discovering.

Each week's material will provide a discussion of global wisdom about gratitude, plus an inspiring set of gratitude explorations to do with your heart and your SoulCollage® deck. Ideas for new cards will come forth, as will deeper, broader understandings of existing cards.

Week 1: Thankful for the world and those around us. (Giving - growing, expanding gratitude)
Week 2: Thankful for who we are and who we can become (Receiving - deepening your appreciation of the gifts you bring to yourself and the world )

Your instructor

Dr. Michele Manos will be your enthusiastic guide for this course. She'll share from her own SoulCollage® deck, and from her years of experience helping others to get the most from SoulCollage®. Read more about Michele as an instructor HERE.
AT LEFT:  My "Facilitator" Committee card. It's full of gratitude - for Seena's vision, my many teachers, colleagues, friends, and students who've made this such a magical process of discovery.

TRY A SIMPLE GRATITUDE JOURNEY WITH YOUR CARDS:
1. Choose a card randomly from your deck (not a transpersonal card, of course).
2. Ask the Neter what it is grateful for in this world.
3. Ask what it is grateful for within you.
4. Ask what it would like you to be thankful for at this moment.
5. Be open to surprise.

"Homework" schedule

There isn't one! You'll receive the materials on each of two consecutive weeks. The materials allow you to revisit the concepts and explorations later.

Even if you just glance through the material, you are certain to learn novel concepts, gain a new perspective, and identify a crucial Neter in each of the sessions.

The information was delivered in manageable, bite-sized portions so that I could take it in without feeling overwhelmed. I loved that you shared examples from your own deck.   Sara

The (written) materials were so helpful. I'll be using them for a long time. Marie
